Yesterday April 19, 2012 a BU grad student was killed two blocks from my apartment. Both Boston.com and Fox 25 News Interviewed me.

Krysta Voskowsky: My name is Krysta Voskowsky and I am a graduate of Champlain College with a degree in Professional Writing, soon to be obtaining my MFA in Creative Writing. I specifically enjoy writing creative non-fiction, poetry, and travel writing, as well as thorough copy editing. I grew up in northern Connecticut and graduated from Granby Memorial High School in '05. I have one year of experience working as an intern for Eating Well Magazine based out of Charlotte, Vermont and was a staff writer for the Champlain Current in college. Aside from the occasional informational article, I primarily wrote a monthly advice column called "Ask Krysta". My writing inspiration comes from the amazing and unique things that happen every day that most people take for granted. I love paying attention to the detail of every moment. I am also inspired by nature, kindness, hardship, music, religion, family, and other great writers - including the one's that aren't famous yet.
